Black Angus Calf gets Prosthetic Limb... Guess How She'll Spend the Remainder of her Life?


Multiple Choice:

A) Frolicking in a grassy pasture

B) Getting more delicious fatter, then slaughtered, and then consumed by me

Sorry, but it's true.  Look at this story objectively-- The calf gets severe frostbite on her hind legs and so Nancy Dickenson and her step daughter (pictured above) spend thousands of dollars getting it outfitted with prosthetic legs.

And for what?  To save a cow that was a few months away from McDonald's?  It's a heartwarming story, but a little misguided in my opinion.

Side note-- the operation was done by vets and students at Colorado State University.
